Po’olenalena is a nice, long sandy beach which until recent years, was mostly known only by the locals. Because it has spectacular sunset views and often becomes uncrowded late in the day, it is a favorite location for wedding photographers and ceremonies.

Cupid’s arrow struck Annika and Frank, and they chose a long sandy beach on Maui to exchange their vows. A late afternoon wedding at Po’olenalena Beach was the perfect oceanfront spot to say “I do” for this lovely couple. Post-ceremony, Annika and Frank braved the ocean to model for some playful wedding photos in a “trash the dress” series. As you can see by the photos, these newlyweds are very happy.
Anita and Ales picked a gorgeous day to get married at Po’olenalena Beach. Located in Makena, this long sandy beach is ideal for Maui weddings. Anita and Ales were graced with beautiful skies and gentle clouds as the backdrop for their sunset wedding. The bride wore a flattering modern wedding dress that complemented her handsome groom. Her pink and white flower bouquet was the only accessory needed to complete this elegant beach wedding.
I had a blast photographing Sarah Ann and Graham’s honeymoon portraits. Their energy was fun and playful. Dodging the rain, we were able to capture some great sunset beach photography.
I absolutely adore Nancy and Tommy. What else can I say? It wasn’t difficult finding moments of love to capture with my camera. Thanks Nancy and Tommy for having me as your photographer.
We love our engagement photos! Thank you Sasha for doing such an incredible job!!
Daria and Lorenzo, originally from Italy, came to Maui and had a beautiful intimate beach wedding with friends and family. They got their feet wet, kissed a lot and drove off on a Harley! Lorenzo and Daria sang to each other while Ron played their song, “I’m Yours” by Jason Mraz.
Congratulations, Daria and Lorenzo!
